Rammed Earth Retreat House
"If you're cycling the Great Taste Trail, this is the place to stay. we arrived cold and tired to a lovely warm house. Right on the trail and out in the country we really enjoyed our stay there. Could have stayed a few days to explore the area".

"Still in complete awe with this treasure of a place tucked away amid peaceful mountains! The majestic views will calm you, the bright sun will warm your heart, the house itself will completely charm you, and the hosts (Mike and Beth) will make you believe in kindness and generosity forever. Our stay was absolutely memorable; and we are undeniably grateful to have experienced such an indoor, outdoor and human experience.
Close to magnificent Abel Tasman...and definitely worth every kilometer you will drive!

"This is a wonderful home set amongst the beautiful landscape of the Motueka Valley. We loved watching the sheep and a friendly weka as we sat on the patio with the grapevines and twinkling Christmas lights above us. We went tubing down the river and loved walking over the swing bridge to get some fresh fruit and chutney. After an awesome sunset you could view a billion stars in the sky. Thank you Mike and Beth for a truly relaxing getaway".

“We had a lovely stay for four nights at this lovely, cosy and comfortable home. Mike and Beth made sure everything was perfect for us. The location was stunning and the hosts' generosity was very much appreciated. I would unreservedly recommend this amazing home and location for anybody who wanted to explore this beautiful area of nz. There's plenty to see and do and when you come home in the evening your comfort and relaxation is assured. Thanks for everything!"

"What a great haven from noisy cities and towns. We ate breakfast and dinner on the patio under the grape arbor and watched the Weka feed their chicks. The house had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained. Instructions provided were clear. The door was open when we arrived which was good since I couldn't find my info on a local contact. Thanks for a peaceful and most pleasant stay. We went to Abel Tasman both days over the several scary single lane bridges. They make you feel alive!"

"We were very pleased to find the lovely secluded fishing cottage. In beautiful quiet country location. It had everything we needed and we were grateful for the slow combustion fire on a rainy night".
