Eateries & Outings
Toad Hall, Motueka is a place with a fantastic family-friendly vibe and outstanding food. They do live music several nights a week all through Summer, along with wood fired pizza and local artisan beers. Great coffee anytime of the week, year round. Moutere Inn is close enough to the farm to be your Local with its great atmosphere and food, plus an excellent selection of locally crafted beers, wines and ciders. The Mussel Inn is a Must-Visit if you are planning a day trip over the Takaka Hill; great live music most nights through summer, micro-brewery onsite, rough sawn furniture, big bowls of steaming mussels... On your way over there, take the kids to Anatoki Salmon to experience fishing for their own salmon, then watching it being prepared and smoked right in front of you at the restaurant onsite. Church Lane Cafe in Motueka is a great option for an elegant high-tea, coffee or extravagant brunch; their menu is outstanding and their impeccably manicured French-themed garden setting will transport you to another world while you dine. Village Milk is well worth the short 10min drive from the farm, if you would like to experience a slick operation involving 15 dairy cows and a state of the art vending machine to collect your raw milk. Take along one of our 1 or 2 litre jugs we've left you in the pantry, especially for the occasion. Vending machine accepts coins or card.
