On your way over there, take the kids to Anatoki Salmon to experience fishing for their own salmon, then watching it being prepared and smoked right in front of you at the restaurant onsite.
Church Lane Cafe in Motueka is a great option for an elegant high-tea, coffee or extravagant brunch; their menu is outstanding and their impeccably manicured French-themed garden setting will transport you to another world while you dine.
Village Milk is well worth the short 10min drive from the farm, if you would like to experience a slick operation involving 15 dairy cows and a state of the art vending machine to collect your raw milk.

If you've brought your mountain bikes, do not leave the area without visiting Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park which is a testament to the local community spirit with dozens of well maintained, world class single-track rides.
